About Us
Kelly Schmeits... the photographer. He is my best friend, my soul mate, my inspiration, my husband.
Kelly is a very passionate person. He is passionate about his family, his motorcycles, his work, and his photography, all that he does. He doesn’t say much, but you can tell what he feels and thinks when looking at his photographs. He shoots from the heart.
He originally took a strong interest in photography when our little boy Kaden was born. Realizing how important capturing the moment is.
When he looks thru the eye of the camera he is in the moment he doesn’t just take snapshots. He is patient and takes it all in and waits... to capture that expression, that smile, that look that distinguishes each of us.
Kimberly Schmeits, they call me “KK” for Kelly’s Kim. I am the creative flair to ActionPhotos by K3. I have always been avid about taking pictures and recording the moment which led me into a passion for scrap booking.
I love scrap booking because it allows “the Story” to be told and unfold. My scrap booking experience has been a big influence to the collages and the creative work we do.
As we take each picture, silently in our minds we ask ourselves…how does this tell their story? We work as a team, Kelly is behind the camera and I am the one that hears and records the story that each of us wants to tell.

Kaden James Schmeits… our inspiration. He is 1 ½ years old and has had the lens of a camera in his face from the exact moment he first opened his eyes and pee'd all over everything!
At that moment he had no idea how many times he would be looking into the face of a camera. It all starts with him and the passion we have of “capturing his moments”. We love to watch him explore and discover and of course “record” or as we like to say “capture” that forever in a photograph.
He is growing up so fast, as all of you parents understand, and to look back at this last years photos means the world to us. We know we have embraced the emotion when we laugh or cry and ohh and aww; as the photo resurfaces that moment in time. He is our little miracle.
Now we want to not miss anything and to be able to look back and share these incredible memories with others! Watching him is quite an exciting adventure…he teaches us so much as he learns and discovers what we have taken for granted. “Today is what matters”, “THIS” moment, right now!!..... “SNAP”
